Language Teacher, Translator and Poet

Hello, my name is Doris Anne. I am a qualified English, French and German (DaF) teacher. I studied French and English at Münster University (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität) and German in a distance-learning course with the Goethe Institute and the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich.

I’ve been living in the province of Barcelona for the last fifteen years after longer stays in France, Ecuador, Canada and Chile. Originally, I am from the Münsterland in Germany. I am also a qualified translator for the language pair Spanish/German but I can also translate from English and  French into my mother tongue, German. I studied translation with the ISTRAD in Sevilla and Menéndez Pelayo University. 

I’ve got a lot of experience in teaching English, French and German to individuals as well as in company, language schools and at university level (German/English). 

In January 2025, I moved to Bellaterra (Cerdanyola), near the UAB.

NEWS!!!

From October onwards, there will be two English groups, on Tuesday and on Wednesday. They will take place in the EMD Bellaterra, Placa Maragall 4: 

1.) Basic English level (Tuesday, 18.00 – 21.00) 

2.) Intermediate level (Wednesday, 18.00 – 21.00).
